Room Builder bug

Postby Ivywoodstudios » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:27 pm

Dont know where to put up little bug reports.

1.
sometimes in the room builder when i drag the walls the handles separate and go off and i have to click around a bit till they snap back, can be a bit annoying sometimes. seems like they almost have a separate pivot point.

I would normally expect to see bug reports under Troubleshooting.

Please remind us whether you are on Mac or Windows, as a problem like this is likely to be platform-specific.

To make sure I understand you: You grab a wall by clicking somewhere other than on one of the black squares, and when you drag the wall, the black squares become detached? Are any doors or windows involved?

ok ill add them to troubleshooting lol, seems obvious now lol. though it says users helping users, which is why i didnt. but yeah thats the gist of it, im running windows7 home premium. im not sure if it happens on walls with doors/windows, it may, but it definitely happens with plain walls. sometimes when i drag the wall the black squares detach and head off in another direction.

So far I can't reproduce that. I'll bring this to the attention of a Windows programmer here, but if you find any specific steps that turn the "sometimes" into "always", please let us know.

Never mind, I figured out how to reproduce it: Set the magnification to 150%. If you set it to 100%, I don't think the problem will occur, so that's a workaround until we have a fix.
