Movie Magic Scheduling.

Postby kenmatthews » Mon Feb 27, 2012 2:15 am

Is it possible to ally FrameForge with Movie Magic Scheduling? I can see where such an option would be really beneficial and time saving... I'm busy working on a storyboard of my Screenplay "Understanding God", and I seem to be more than just a screenwriter/storyboarder now...

Best regards.

Can you explain in more detail what you're wishing for?

Hello James,

I was thinking that FrameForge creates the film and has a lot of report facilities. It would be great if the programme (or Movie Magic scheduling) could be integrated to give report facilities of filming scenes in the various locations depicted in the storyboard. All we'd have to do is put in the dates of shooting/real locations where the shooting will take place, and then all the necessary scheduling paperwork would be automatically created...
A lot of work I imagine, but what a boon...

Best regards.

Ken.

I have just finished a breakdown and scheduling in Movie Magic Scheduling... And what I've been doing is just exporting the storyboards from Frameforge into a folder, then importing them with all of the shot info into the image manager with MM Scheduling. Then I put out an image report which gives all of the information on the report. I'm not sure if that's any help, but it has been a tremendous help for my project.

Just streamline the scheduling from in all modes like Frame-forge, Image manager etc. It has been a great help during my one of the best british magicians / magician project. It will not serve what you are wishing right now but a great help for sure.
