Accidentally moving objects

Postby alexkuzelicki » Wed Apr 28, 2004 7:43 am

Hi,

Sometimes if I've built a complicated set, with lots of objects and people in it, I find that things get moved around by accident eg. I move an actor in one POV (say a mid-shot) then I switch to another view (say a reverse wide shot) and I seem to have moved other objects close to the actor (say a table or a part of a set). Is there a way to 'lock down' the set so this doesn't keep happening?
Thanks in advance.

ALEX

P.S. FrameForge 3D Studio is still the best 'new toy' I've used in years.

Yes, there is. Once your set is assembled as you like it, simply select the parts you want to keep in position and go to the TOOLS menu and choose LOCK SELECTED OBJECTS. This will "lock down" those objects to that they will not be selected by clicking on them.
