Exporting VRML from Poser while Keeping Texture

Postby johnnycb » Tue Feb 08, 2011 12:35 am

hello,
I want to import VRML's in to FrameForge that I exported from Poser (FBX's are too large) but the figure always imports as a white/gray monochromatic figure as opposed to the textured figure I built in poser. Is there a trick to getting the VRML's to keep their textures?
Thanks! I'm new to this.

When you export VRML from Poser, does it save any files other than the VRML file itself? Sometimes VRML files reference external texture files.

If you e-mail me (jamesw@frameforge3d.com) an example of such a VRML file, I could probably tell what, if anything, it's trying to do with textures.

I've talked to the poster directly, but for any other interested parties, the bottom line is that Poser just doesn't export any texture information in VRML.
