How long did it take you to do the Charlie's Angels scene? Roughly.

Do you just export your scenes as a swf and edit them in a seperate program?

I ask because I have resorted to exporting actual .jpgs and then combining them in final cut pro... the .swf's are too low rez for me cause I want to burn my movies to DVD.

That's been taking along time... but the quality is high.

(re-read your post and yes, jpegs might get you a higher rez than converting. It shouldn't be too much, though. I haven't noticed as much of a downshift as with the export as .mov. I will also add a blur and some adjustments to color in the video editor.)

The scene took about a week and a half -- did it before there was tweening. Then I spent about a day adding tweening. I did this quite a while ago and I'm MUCH faster now.

I understand about the quality -- 2.5 has Quicktime, but I can see some compression going on.

OK, this will make your life SO much easier--

export as a Flash Animation.

Go to www.download.com and download a "flash to video encoder"
Now, before you download a bunch and have to sort through the demos to find a good one that doesn't leave a watermark, I'll give ya the good one:

http://www.download.com/Flash-to-Video- ... ag=lst-0-5

It's free to try.

When you convert the Flash file, choose "Raw -- uncompressed" for the best quality and some video editors won't accept certain compressed formats. You can downshift the frames-per-second so the file isn't so massive.

Now you will have high-quality video out of your flash animation.

Have fun :)
