Church Set

Postby smudge78 » Fri Feb 26, 2010 3:25 am

Hey everyone I just thought I'd share my Church Set with you. Its only basic, moderate detail it as I have another 1000 ish shots to storyboard and a bout another 50 sets - I'm using PRO and it really makes a difference, the lighting option is superb.

I have only lit the set from one side using 5k hanging lights (with coloured filters to simulate the stained glass windows) If you noticed I used the Church podium that someone posted on (thanks for that) and adapted it to suit.

It took a while to create and I only need it for about 10 shots (10 pretty gory shots) - ah well thats show business!!!!

Long live FF3D!!!!!

Wow! Nice work.

Curious. How long did it take you to model the set? Did you do it in SketchUp?

Oh yes. You mentioned you had about a 1000 or so shots to do. How long do you expect it will take you to do all of the shots and sets?

Hi, it only took 2 or so hours to model and the whole thing was modelled in Frameforge, not quite got my head around importing sketchup models yet. As soon as I get into the swing of it I can knock 'em out fairly quickly!

I think it will take me around a month to storyboard the feature film give or take. There are quite a few setups and a few large scenes.

That is just plain sick! I love it!

You used room builder for the entire thing? No imports?
