Posting User Tips

Postby atittle » Thu May 15, 2008 3:45 pm

It was extremely helpful to recently learn that poses are gender specific (and that you can quickly create poses for the other gender by swapping objects, then selecting the other gender actor now exhibiting the new pose, and then save the pose). However, the bigger point I wish to make is that all of these tips should be posted in one easily accessible location in this forum: ideally organized by topic.

This program is truly amazing, but because you guys update it so frequently I often find myself wondering if I’m truly using it in the most efficient manner. New users, and even some of us who’ve been around for a while, would find being able to quickly access and review all of these tips extremely helpful. Yes, I know we already have this Tip & Tricks forum. I just suggesting you add a single, searchable tip file or database to this forum.

Anyone want to volunteer to coordinate such a thing? We'd give you free product and expansion packs...

Since I brought this up, I'd be very interested in talking to you guys about coordinating exactly this kind of effort. Send me a PM and let's set up a time to discuss this via phone.

Sounds good. I believe this will be a valuable resource for a lot of users. I know it'll help my proficiency. What's that old saying: "Work smarter, not harder." Being able to quickly refer to the latest user tips is definitely working smarter.

Yes, I received your PM. Unfortunately, I've been chained to an editing suite for the last week. A previous commitment; couldn't be helped. I definitely want to continue with this. I'll begin posting by the end of the week. Thanks for moving so quickly on this initiative.
