You can already accomplish the same effect using a texturable cube building block. Scale it up to the desired size and take it into the Green Room. Use the Part Options tab to remove the back, left, right, and top surfaces. Then go to the Colors/Textures/State tab and select the Front part. Move the Shininess slider all the way to the left, then apply your texture.
