Skin textures

Postby kenmatthews » Thu Aug 16, 2007 3:32 am

Hello,

Is it possible to separate the feet and hands from the skin module? I sometimes texturise the skin, however, the problem is, texturizing the skin also texturizes the feet and hands... Not a great problem with my current storyboard as I'm designing Gods. However, I'm also doing another storyboard alongside this one (concurrently) and I would like to use this texturizing technique whilst leaving the feet and hands with normal skin...

Best regards.

Ken.

If, rather than applying a texture to the skin, you apply a DECAL to the existing skin texture, you could leave the hands and feet untouched while replacing what you want.

I am at the point of tearing my hair off, but I cannot seem to download Lemon Leaf's European skin texturesl . I have translated the site using Google Translate and I click the download link where it says you will be directed to a site called GameSir, but I am not provided with a download link. Instead it says I do not have access and must sign up to gain access but when I try to sign up it says there is something wrong with my custom firewall settings except I am not using a custom firewall.

The reason why I want Lemon Leaf's skin default is that she specifically has added single-folded and double-folded eyelids, most other skins don't offer. So any help appreciated how to download them... I know people have done it, but why can't it work for me?

Unfortunately we can't help you with this as it has nothing to do with FrameForge per se, being a SIMs Skin. Also, although I haven't seen how they do skins, even if you do find it, It will very likely not work with our characters as skins have to be designed for each mesh specifically.

If you post a reference photo of what you are looking for, then it is possible someone might be able to help you out by adapting the exiting FrameForge skin...
