Multiple pre-made(Set Collections) sets into one?

Postby Chiprocks1 » Sat Sep 20, 2003 7:41 am

Hello ,

I will use "The Breakfast Club" as an example of what I would like to achieve with a set.

In the movie, there is a shot in which the kids can see right into Principal Vernon's office from there vantage point in the library.

What I would like to know is it possible to be able to "bring in" two seperate sets that are pre-made(Set Collections) and lay them in the blue romm side by side?

Or will have to construct the entire library and office first?

Or is the blueroom only allowed for one pre-made set that comes with the product?

Just wondering.

Thanks

There will be an update soon that will accomodate merging two sets.

If there is a lot of action moving from one room to the next, then you're probably best off building them as one set.

I assume you really mean the Blueprint view, and I'm not quite sure I understand your question; you can build as many different sets as you like and have access to all of them within the same storyboard...

What I mean about bringing in sets into the Blueprint view is that as of now, when I import from the collection sets, I can only bring in one set and use at a time. I can't for example, bring in a HOUSE INT. set and then bring in an EXTERIOR set to place outside the HOUSE INT., so that if I look throuhg the window of the HOUSE, I will be able to see an EXTERIOR of the other set.

That's currently true, though there will be an update soon that will allow you to merge two sets.
