The easiest way is to run FrameForge 3D Studio for Windows or Macintosh, go to the HELP MENU and click CHECK FOR PROGRAM UPDATES.
If this menu item is not available then you certainly don't have the latest version and need to follow the instructions below:
For Windows Users:
While FrameForge 3D Studio is NOT running, click the START menu, then PROGRAM FILES then FRAMEFORGE 3D STUDIO, then WEBGRAB INTERNET UPDATER.
For Macintosh Users:
While FrameForge 3D Studio is NOT running, navigate to the FrameForge 3D Studio program folder, then double-click on WEBGRAB-FF.
There is an extra wrinkle caused by the transition to a Universal Binary. If the FrameForge version (visible in the splash screen or by choosing About FrameForge 3D Studio from the FrameForge3D menu) is less than 2.2 but WebGrab says you do not need any updates, then you need to update WebGrab itself manually. Download it from this link:
ftp://ftp.frameforge3d.com/webgrab/WebGrab-FF2.app.zip
Unzip it, put it in your FrameForge 3D Studio V2 folder, trash the old version, and double-click the new version. You'll only need to do this manual download once; from then on, WebGrab should be able to keep everything up to date, including itself.
In either case, it will automatically log into our update site and verify and install any newer updates.
