Anyone else having problems upgrading to the new expansion packs?

For some reason I can't seem to unzip the packs in order to place them into frameforge.

Thanks

I understand it should be simple to do (drop and drag into frameforge object library while its running) but it wont accept the unzipped files. Also the instructions given say that you'll only be asked the serial code after you drop the files in.

Therefore I was wondering what I've been doing wrong. oh yeah, I'm using a PC, windows XP.

Hopefully I haven't confused you guys!

Oh yeah, I've been trying to unzip the files sent before dropping them into frameforge but the serial code given won't unlock it.

Therefore is it a bug on my PC to why the serial code is not unlocking the zipped files.

You're not supposed to unzip anything. Just drop the expansion pack on FrameForge. Then FrameForge will ask you for the serial number, and it will proceed to uncompress and install the expansion pack.

Just out of curiosity, which web browser are you using? We usually get this question from Mac users, because the Safari browser "helpfully" adds a .zip extension to the expansion pack during the download.

I'm using internet explorer. When I cut and pasted the links to downloads to my deskstop, it always comes as zip files.

So what you're trying to say is that i shouldn't be receiving the files as zips?

Thanks for your time

Problem solved. It seems my stupid web browser was renaming the downloaded files, taking away the ending of the file name. After re-naming the files the installation went smoothly.

Thanks again, your support as always is top notch!
